I AM TO SMALL TO EXPORT

Any company, farmer can export.  Its not the volume of product that restricts your ability to trade neither is it your ability to find a market that is willing to grow with you and yes they do exist!!  Its not your high transaction costs (cost to do the deal) that is frustrating your ability to be competitive, but rather your approach to trying to export alone!!! You must consider forming Joint Ventures be it at production level, at the logistics front or with your buyer(s).  Even AIM could partner with you part time until you can go it alone.

The most common complaint received is the one of gearing or financing such sophisticated supply.  The answer lies in involving an appropriate third party.  Some banks do not even have the finance solutions (instruments) required.  In others the country’s monetary policies restrict banks abilities to assist.

This is where AIM can add much value to your efforts.  We have overcome some of these challenges.  If you have the patience you can and will export, provided that you implement strategies that have been forged over many years.
